Tele-Audiology

Auditory Processing Evaluation and Treatment can is provided through Tele-audiology. This practice transforms the way hearing healthcare services are provided. The primary focus of our Auditory Processing Evaluation and Treatment is to provide patient-centered care in the comfort of your own home. This type of service combines a holistic approach to health care with a traditional model of hearing healthcare. Families and people of all ages are embracing this form of service delivery. Before the Evaluation is conducted or Treatment is provided, a consultation is required.

  • Auditory Processing Evaluation

    Full Auditory Processing Evaluation for children to adults ages 6 and up. Dr. O’Brien-Taylor provides a comprehensive test battery based on each person’s unique auditory needs. She uses tests from the Central Auditory Battery, Acoustic Pioneer, as well as other test batteries. Testing will be done via tele-audiology.

  • Auditory Processing Treatment

    Typically, treatment therapy is 12-14 weeks long. Treatment programs are the Buffalo Model auditory training program and the Acoustic Pioneer Software. Before and after evaluations will be conducted. Therapy sessions are one-on-one and provided via zoom.

    • Pick-up or drop off service of hearing aid technology for routine hearing aid checks
